Price Offer:

All our buy prices are available online and the price is fixed once we have received the item. If you cannot find the item you wish to sell, then there is a high chance that we do not catalogue it. If so, we will purchase your metals at a reduced price. We reserve the right to buy your metals at the prices advertised if they are not suitable for resale.

Gold:

  • ALL uncatalogued bars are bought at -2% below spot.
  • ALL uncatalogued British coins are bought at -1% below spot.
  • ALL uncatalogued international coins are bought at -2% below spot.

Any bars or coins which are unsuitable for resale will be bought at -3%.

Silver:

  • ALL uncatalogued bars are bought at -5% below spot.
  • ALL uncatalogued British coins are bought at -2% below spot.
  • ALL uncatalogued bars international coins are bought at -5% below spot.

Any bars or coins which are unsuitable for resale will be bought at -10%.

Required Information:

For transactions:

· Over £8,000 in a year or £5,000 in a single transaction require government issued photograph ID and proof of address.

· Over £50,000 we may require some further information. Please get in contact with us if you expect your sale of metals to exceed this amount.

Which product should I choose?

Bullion is typically classified into two categories, namely bars and coins. A common question that people often have before purchasing bullion is which product is the right one for them. To provide some assistance, there are some important factors to consider when choosing the right product: the lowest price per gram, the global traceability of the product, and the different sizes and values of the product.

In general, larger products tend to have lower margins, so it is recommended to buy a larger quantity of gold at once rather than smaller amounts more frequently. For example, it is advisable to purchase a 10g Gold Bullion Bar once instead of 10 x 1g Gold Bullion Bars. That is due to the cost of minting a bar remaining constant, regardless of the gold price. However, what varies is the price of the minting process compared to the current market price of gold. Furthermore, when selling, the price of gold is always a bit under the spot price, therefore, the closer to the spot price you purchase gold the better.

Would I need to pay CGT on my purchase?

Capital Gains Tax (CGT) is a tax on the profit when you sell something that’s increased in value. This has to be paid from any profit you make that is larger than the yearly allowance of £3,000 (HMRC.)

All coins produced by the Royal Mint that qualify as British legal currency are exempt from Capital Gains Tax.

The prices for bulk purchases are displayed for each product and they are applied automatically. For orders over £50,000, please contact us via phone or e-mail to discuss a tailored offer specifically for you.
