Financial Year Ending 31/12/2025
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Tavex Gold Limited has taken during the financial year ending 31/12/2025 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business operations and supply chains.
1. Our Business and Structure
Tavex Gold Limited (“Tavex Gold”) is a UK-registered company wholly owned by Tavex Group AS, headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia. Tavex Gold operates from its office in Hatton Garden, London and is engaged in bullion trading, providing both retail and wholesale services, online and offline.
2. Our Supply Chains
Our principal suppliers are internationally recognised bullion refiners and mints, including:
The Royal Mint (UK), The Perth Mint (Australia), The Austrian Mint (Austria), Valcambi SA (Switzerland), PAMP SA (Switzerland)
The precious metals sold by Tavex Gold Limited are exclusively sourced from LBMA Good Delivery refiners or state-owned mints with equivalent policies and oversight
We therefore consider the risk of modern slavery in our direct supply chain to be low.
3. Policies and Commitments
Tavex Gold aligns with the parent company Tavid AS’s Supply Chain Policy, which follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and EU Regulation (2017/821) for responsible sourcing of minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. This includes commitments to:
- Respect human rights and avoid contributing to conflict.
- Refrain from any form of torture, forced labour, child labour, sexual violence, war crimes, or gross human rights abuses.
- Refuse any direct or indirect support to armed non-state groups.
- Prohibit bribery, money laundering, and fraudulent misrepresentation of mineral origin.
- Ensure taxes, fees, and royalties are paid transparently to governments.
We believe there is not a significant risk of slavery or human trafficking in our business, we do not have any key performance indicators specific to this area. However, we monitor and review business practices which mitigate slavery or human trafficking.
