Marketing Assistant (Fixed Term Contract: 3 to 6 Months)

We’re Tavex, one of Europe’s largest precious metals dealers and currency exchange providers operating across 14 countries. Our United Kingdom operation has been running for 5 years, doubling our revenue every year, today turning over £85M annually with a lean, high-performing team. We’ve built something strong, now we’re scaling.

Whats Happening

We are at a genuinely exciting point in our marketing journey. The foundations are being laid, the strategy is set, and we are in the process of turning the bullion industry on its head. This is not a business doing things the way they have always been done. We are blending traditional and non-traditional marketing in a way the industry has not seen before, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of building that from the ground up.

With trail blazing marketing strategies comes great responsibility and we need someone to jump right in the middle of what we have going on and help us run a tight ship. The role will have its admin-heavy and methodical moments, and we will not pretend otherwise but there will also be some incredibly exciting opportunities to help us build something amazing brick by brick. If you are a person who can stay focused and motivated through that groundwork but also has some amazing out of the box ideas – keep reading !

What we are looking for

We are looking for a reliable and switched-on Marketing Assistant to join the team on a fixed term basis of three to six months. This is a purely execution-focused, hands-on support role sitting within the marketing department. You will be reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, picking up tasks, clearing backlogs, and helping bring ongoing projects to completion. This is not a strategy role. We need someone who is comfortable being pointed in a direction and getting on with it, someone who takes pride in finishing things properly and does not need to be chased.

What you’ll be doing

  • Pick up ongoing marketing tasks and projects at various stages of completion and see them through to the finish line, following briefs and direction already in place
  • Carry out day-to-day marketing admin including filing assets, updating trackers, maintaining folder structures, and keeping documentation tidy and accessible
  • Make basic website updates via our CMS including product listings, pricing, and copy changes, working from briefs provided
  • Help keep content calendars, scheduling tools, and campaign trackers up to date under direction from the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Keep on top of all communication regarding collaborations with external parties
  • Upload and organise digital assets across relevant platforms and shared drives
  • Chase external suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders for outstanding deliverables and keep the Digital Marketing Manager updated on progress
  • Carry out research tasks as briefed, including competitor lookups, keyword lists, and supplier or venue shortlisting
  • Support with the admin side of setting up new accounts and tools as the department grows
  • Take on any additional support tasks as needed to keep the marketing function running smoothly

Experience we’d value

  • Some experience in a marketing, admin, or coordination role, whether professional or through education
  • Comfortable picking up live work mid-way through without a full handover
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter who can follow a brief and deliver without needing constant supervision
  • Comfortable carrying out repetitive or administrative tasks without losing focus or quality
  • Basic familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, CMS platforms, and social media scheduling tools is helpful
  • Any exposure to digital marketing is a bonus but not essential as full direction will be provided

What’s on offer.

  • Location: London, in-office. Opportunity for travel across our European offices and United Kingdom.
  • Contract: Fixed term: 3 to 6 months. Immediate start preferred.
  • Discretionary bonus scheme: A discretionary bonus scheme is available for team members who excel in this role.
  • Hybrid working: Once you have completed your probationary period, we offer the option to work from home 2/3 times a week.
